Policies and Procedures

The following policies and procedures guide the conduct of Duanesburg Central School students and staff. Additional information about district policies can be found on the Board of Education page.

Dignity for All Students Act (DASA)

New York state’s Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) took effect in 2012 to provide a safe and supportive environment free from discrimination, intimidation, harassment and bullying on school grounds. 

Code of Conduct

The Duanesburg Central School Code of Conduct outlines expectations for students, staff, parents, administrators and visitors to school grounds, as well as detailing prohibited conduct and disciplinary procedures. 

Nondiscrimination Policy

The Duanesburg Central School District is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. The district does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, national origin, gender, age, disability, marital or parental status in any of its activities, including employment and education programs, and is in compliance with Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972 and with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
