Dear Class of 2020 and Families,
During this very uncertain time we want to assure you, as a district we are taking all circumstances surrounding graduation and other events under advisement based upon the executive orders issued from Governor Cuomo.
Currently, he is not allowing any large gatherings. Please know, our decision to begin the process of organizing a virtual graduation does not mean we are not willing to adjust if circumstances change and we are allowed to offer something different. If the restrictions begin to ease, we will certainly make adjustments to the gradation plan based on what is permitted. Our decision to move ahead with the virtual platform format was based on our desire to have the best graduation possible if things do not ease up with the regulations.
We can assure you, as a district we have the students’, families’ and staff’s safety as our top priority. Thank you for all your support as we all work through this extremely stressful and unchartered territory.
