Dear DCS families,
Today the Duanesburg Central School District was informed by Schenectady County Public Health Services (SCPHS) that a staff member in the Elementary School is presumed positive for COVID-19. SCPHS has conducted contact tracing, resulting in several members of the school community and all 6th graders being quarantined until definitive test results are known. Because of this, sixth grade students were sent home today.
If this results in the need for further quarantining, we will send out additional communication over the weekend. Otherwise, we intend to open normally on Monday, March 29, for all students.
