Earlier this month, DCS welcomed Rebecca Cornell as the district’s new health teacher at the Jr.-Sr. High School.

Mrs. Cornell received her undergraduate degree in Physical Education from SUNY Cortland and completed her Masters program in Health, Physical Education and Recreation (HPER) online from Emporia State University. She graduated from Broadalbin-Perth High School, and lives in Perth with her husband Tim, who is a P.E./Health teacher at Broadalbin-Perth, and their three children Aiden (age 9), Trevor (age 6) and Leah (age 4).

Mrs. Cornell loves outdoor activities and running, and competes in many charity races. She also loves to go hiking and boating and enjoys cooking and baking. This past fall, she ran the Mohawk to Hudson Marathon!

Welcome to DCS, Mrs. Cornell!
