DCS Superintendent of Schools Kimberly Ross sent the following message to all families, students and staff, notifying them of the passage of Policy #7316 at Tuesday evening’s Board of Education meeting. The policy details the district’s commitment to focused learning and responsibility to comply with state requirements, with a district-wide “Bell to Bell, No Cell” expectation for all staff and students. The new policy goes into effect on the first day of the 2025-2026 school year – Thursday, September 4.
