ES remote learning Jan. 19-22

Dear DCS families,

The Duanesburg Central School District was informed that a member of the Elementary School has tested positive for COVID-19. The individual was last in the building on January 13. The district has taken immediate steps to notify Schenectady County Public Health Services. The district is working closely with SCPHS and following all guidance provided by them.

Based on its contact tracing protocols, SCPHS has determined that approximately 10 staff members and 30 students in the Elementary School will be quarantined. This results in a staffing shortage.

Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, January 19, the Elementary School will pivot to Remote Learning through Friday, January 22. The Elementary School will reopen for in-person classes on Monday, January 25.

The Jr/Sr High School will reopen tomorrow for in-person learning as scheduled. Off-campus programming will proceed as normal.
