The elementary school will re-open for in-person instruction

Dear DCS community,

A short time ago, the Duanesburg Central School District was informed that a member of the Jr/Sr High School has tested positive for COVID-19. The individual was last in the building on Jan. 6. The district has taken immediate steps to notify the Schenectady County Department of Public Health. The district is working closely with the public health department and following all guidance provided by them.

We will be re-opening our Elementary School for in-person instruction tomorrow, Jan. 15. Elementary students and staff who are not quarantined may return to school.

Our Jr/Sr High School will remain on Remote Learning Friday, Jan. 15. It will reopen for hybrid instruction on Tuesday, Jan. 19.

Please remember that there is no school on Monday for the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.

Off-campus programs

If not quarantined, BOCES Career and Technical Education (CTE) students will attend their programs in-person. Transportation to all off-campus special education programs will proceed as normal.
