DCS is deploying an emergency early release today, May 28, due to a widespread electrical outage.
All staff and students are accounted for and safe in the building.
Early dismissal will begin at the high school at 12 p.m. and at DES at 12:15 p.m. CKC is closed for this afternoon.
Per district policy, students in grade PK-3 will not be allowed to exit the bus without an adult present at the bus stop/house and will stay on the bus while the driver continues their route.
All district phones lines are currently not working. If you have an emergency, please contact Superintendent Ross’ work cell number: (518) 925-7912 and she will assist you. DCS staff should remain on-site until they receive notification that they can leave.
