What is the Parent Portal?

Parents/guardians of DCS students can access school-related information about their children through a web-based application called Parent Portal. Parent Portal is a free, online system, and it is an extension of the district’s current student data management system, eSchoolData.

Through Parent Portal, parents can view schedules, progress reports, report cards, transcripts and attendance records. (Dates for progress reports and report cards are listed on the DCS calendar.) Parents can also email questions or comments to teachers directly from Parent Portal pages.

To use the Parent Portal, visit https://parentportal-neric.eschooldata.com/duanesburg and login. Please add this site to your Favorites or Bookmarks to make returning to it much easier.

If you’d don’t already have an account, click on “Parent Portal Registration” on the login page for step-by-step information on how to sign up. You should only need to register once to see all the children in your household.

For computer hardware and software Parent Portal recommends a Macintosh (OS X 10.7.5 or newer) or Windows PC (Windows 7 Professional or newer) with an internet connection; Safari 5.0, Google Chrome 27, or Internet Explorer 11, or later; and Adobe Acrobat Reader™. Please make sure “Popup Blockers” are turned off for the Parent Portal website.
