Congratulations to the DCS volleyball team for earning the 2020 Team Academic Award. The team sustained a GPA of 95.69 for the year.
The award is presented by the American Volleyball Coaches Association in conjunction with the United States Marine Corps. The association recognized that teams were unable to play this spring, but acknowledged the leadership and support of Coach Ryan Patrie to help the team remain focused on academics.
“Be proud of your volleyball team,” the award announcement says. “Even without the support to bond them, they succeeded as a group of students.”
