Dear DCS Community:
Though new COVID cases continue to crop up daily at DCS, we are beginning to see a decrease in the high numbers that followed the winter break. This aligns with regional and statewide downward trends.
As I indicated in my last update, we have now discontinued the daily notifications of positive COVID cases via Parent Square. Our reporting on positive cases can be found on the state COVID-19 Report Card, which is updated daily by our health staff and contains a great deal of information about how the virus has impacted our schools this year.
Though we have greatly reduced our contact tracing, we will continue to reach out directly to the parents of students who are at high risk of exposure.
