Best of luck to DCS sophomore student-athlete SEAN ROSENZWEIG who is competing in the USA Snowboard & Freeski Association (USASA) National Championships at Copper Mountain in Frisco, Colorado on Monday, April 8!

Sean skis in the Adirondack Series of the USASA, representing the Gore Mountain NYSEF Freeride Team and is sponsored by Alpin Haus. This is his seventh year participating in USASA.

He competes in an event called Skier Cross, in which multiple skiers (four maximum) race together on a specially designed course that features big jumps, rollers and high-banked turns. The event is similar to “motocross on skis.”

In the 2023-24 season Sean is ranked first out of three in the Adirondack Series (Freeski Youth Age Group) and 19th (out of 50) nationally. Last year (2022-23 season), Sean finished 8th nationally. His goal this year is to make it to finals and finish in the top four.
