Give your child a joyful start to their learning journey at DCS! Duanesburg offers a free, full-day prekindergarten program (8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.) at Duanesburg Elementary School. Children who reside in the district and will be four years old on or before December 1, 2026 are eligible for the 2026–2027 school year.
Designed to spark curiosity and build confidence, our program provides a nurturing, engaging environment where young learners thrive. Transportation is provided, making it easy and convenient for families. While in prekindergarten, students enjoy a well-rounded experience that includes art, music, and physical education, helping them grow academically, socially, and creatively.
Applications are available now! To secure your child’s spot, completed applications must be submitted by Friday, May 1. Timely submissions are critical to ensure the district can plan appropriately for classrooms, teachers, and resources.
