Website features further highlight district priorities and strategic planning
The Duanesburg Central School District has partnered with ClearGov, a transparency and benchmarking platform, to launch an infographic-based fiscal transparency dashboard.
This new online tool provides taxpayers with an easy-to-understand, visual breakdown of the school district’s finances, as well as insights into demographics, student performance, and information on the school strategic plan. The site also shows visitors how each budget item compares to neighboring districts.
By clicking the “Transparency Center” banner on the district’s homepage, community members can now easily view revenue and expenditure breakdowns, trend data, student population and performance, and key statistics over time in a simple, digital format.
The district has added additional features to its homepage to highlight district priorities outlined in its strategic plan, “DCS Forward.” The plan launched in December. The priority areas include academic performance, personal development, facilities and finances, culture, partnerships and communication. Each priority area links to the appropriate sections of the district’s strategic plan webpage. Community members can read more about the goals for each priority area and steps the district will take to achieve them.
