When school is conducted in person, student attendance will be collected by using information entered in the daily screening attestation and will be recorded in the district’s student information system. During remote instruction due to quarantines or closures, attendance will be recorded .
Student accountability for participation in educational programming is essential, whether in school or at home. Teachers, counselors, the school resource officer, and administrators will be encouraged to reach out to chronically absent or disengaged students to encourage participation and provide accommodations for barriers that may be preventing participation.
