DES students support Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region with read-a-thon

a young girls wearing a face mask shows her book while in the libraryDuanesburg Elementary School’s Community Service Club is hosting a read-a-thon throughout the month of February to raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region, an organization dedicated to helping children and families, especially those struggling with childhood illnesses and injuries. They work to keep families together and close to the care that they need.

As part of the Read for Ronald McDonald House Charities program (Read for RMHC), students are encouraged to gather donations from family and friends in support of the reading they will do for the month of February.
