Students in grades 6-9 are having fun this summer with some hands-on learning at DCS’ free three-week camp focused around STEAM topics (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math). The first week of camp was “Survivor” themed – this current week is themed around “Medieval Times” – and the final week will take a deep dive into the world of technology and coding, in partnership with Albany CanCode. Students were also able to participate in a field trip to the New York Power Authority in Blenheim on Friday, July 15.

Special thanks to our DCS teaching staff for helping to make this summer’s camps extra special for our students, including Ms. Box, Mrs. Crasto, Mr. Gauthier, Mr. Gillmeister, Mrs. Hildebrandt, Mr. Randall, Ms. Shedina, Mr. Tenhagen, and Ms. Terwilliger.
