There are still open spots in DCS’ pre-kindergarten program for the 2024-2025 school year. Children who reside in the district and turned four years old on or before December 1, 2024 are eligible. Duanesburg offers a full day pre-kindergarten program (8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.) at Duanesburg Elementary School. There is no charge to families …

There will be a special Board of Education meeting at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26 in the Jr.-Sr. High School media center/library to accept the results of the 2024-2025 budget vote. 

Next Wednesday (June 26 @ 4:30 p.m.) our graduating seniors in the Class of 2024 will officially become DCS ALUMNI! The annual senior picnic, “Grad Walk” through the DES hallways, and a play session on the beloved playground provided our seniors with a wonderful opportunity to take one last trip down memory lane.

Heather Black is the valedictorian for Duanesburg’s graduating class of 2024. She is the daughter of Mary Lindner and Steve Black. This fall, she plans to attend SUNY Fredonia, where she will major in applied mathematics with plans to go into actuary science and eventually become an actuary.
