DCS named a School of Distinction: Congrats Scholar-Athletes!

Duanesburg Jr./Sr. High School has been named a School of Distinction by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHAA) for achieving Scholar-Athlete status for all varsity teams.

NYSPHAA’s Scholar-Athlete honors students and teams for excellence in their studies. To be named a Scholar-Athlete team, at least 75 percent of a roster must achieve a grade point average of 90 or above.

DCS has a Scholar-Athletes who’s played on three teams, Matthew Coons, many who’ve played for multiple seasons, and athletes who have focused on one particular sport. DCS is proud of all of them. Go Eagles!
