Duanesburg Central School District is seeking community input via an online survey to inform the upcoming search for its new superintendent.
The survey will remain open through Oct. 24. [Note: the survey is now closed.]
The brief, anonymous survey seeks input about what characteristics and skills are desired of the next superintendent. The survey is for all members of the greater school community, including students, parents, staff and residents.
Those without internet access may take the survey at the DCS central office from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. school days. Paper copies of the survey are also available at the central office.
Anita Murphy, District Superintendent of Capital Region BOCES, is working the Duanesburg Board of Education as a consultant during the search process. The Board of Education’s goal is to have the next superintendent in place by next summer. BOCES will begin advertising the position in late October.
The Board of Education is seeking a new superintendent to replace Frank Macri, who recently accepted a position as Voorheesville Central School District’s next superintendent.
