Congratulations to Duanesburg’s newest members of the National Honor Society, who were inducted at a May 17 ceremony at the high school:
The National Honor Society ranks as one of the oldest and most prestigious national organizations for high school students. It was founded in 1921 by the National Association of Secondary School Principals. To be eligible for membership in the National Honor Society: A student must be a sophomore, junior or senior; be in attendance at the school for the equivalent of one semester, and have a cumulative average of at least 88 percent. Additionally, students will be evaluated on the basis of service, leadership and character.
