Do you know a student interested in the performing arts? From Aug. 6-11, DCS will host the Missoula Children’s Theatre’s weeklong summer experience for students in grades 1 to 12 in the high school’s new Joe Bena auditorium.
This summer’s performance will be “Robin Hood,” conceived and written and with music and lyrics by Michael McGill. The students will rehearse from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and three theatre workshops will be offered.
Performances will be held Saturday, Aug. 11, at 3 and 7 p.m. in the Duanesburg High School Auditorium. General admission is $5 or $15 per family.
Total cost for the workshop is $50 per student. A $25 nonrefundable preregistration fee is collected with the application and balance is due on the first day of the program.
