The Duanesburg Central School Peer Tutoring program pairs student tutors with students seeking help in their students. Peer tutors must complete a Tutor Application (also available from the Counseling Office). For more information, contact the Counseling Office or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Students who request tutoring (tutees) will submit a tutoring request form to the Peer Tutoring Program. The counseling office will match these students with tutors and provide tutors with contact information for tutees. Tutors will be responsible for contacting tutees promptly and arranging tutoring sessions. All tutoring sessions will be one-on-one and will take place after school in the library. Tutors and tutees are responsible for deciding the length of each tutoring session and the day it will take place. Once tutors have scheduled the tutoring session, they should inform the tutoring committee of the date and time.
