Leo Club collected 52 units at blood drive
The DCS Leo Club says "thank you" to all the students, staff, and community members who participated in the Red Cross blood drive on October 26. Fifty-two units of blood was collected that day, which enabled the Leo Club to just surpass its goal of collecting at least 51 units. Each unit of blood can save up to three lives--this means the Leo Club's blood drive could help save the lives of up to 156 hospital patients. The Leo Club is already in the process of planning a spring blood drive on March 6, so mark your calendars now!
