January 2012: Anna White
Anna was chosen to be a Student Spotlight because she "is a shining example of a wonderful human being." She treats others with the utmost respect and always tries her hardest at everything she does. She is also a very talented young artist.
What grade are you in?
I am in fifth grade. Mrs. Woodrow is my teacher.
What do you like most about Duanesburg schools?
I like all of the teachers!
What is your favorite class/subject and why?
My favorite subject is social studies because you get to learn so much about the past--and it's really interesting.
What extracurricular activities are you involved in (either through school or outside of school)?
My interests and involvement ranges from theater and the arts to horseback riding.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I want to be a teacher.
What is your greatest accomplishment thus far?
Being able to horseback ride.
Who's your hero and why?
My heroes are my grandma and grandpa.

Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and Maroon 5.

I like sweets!

I enjoy horseback riding.
