MS Principal launches blog
In an effort to become even more connected to parents and
students, Middle School Principal Penny Hardenstine has started a blog. Check it
out at
http://hardenstine.blogspot.com. Research is showing that more and more
parents (and even students) are connecting electronically with their schools. In
addition to websites and teacher web pages blogs, facebook and twitter are also
becoming a more common communications tool.
"Information becomes available to us as soon as it is posted," says one parent
who frequently visits Hardenstine's blog. "While I still appreciate and need, in
some instances, the paper version of some news, forms or permission slips,
there's a lot happening in my child's school that can be communicated
electronically. Plus, the electronic reminders are a life saver in my busy
life."
