Congratulations to DEC poster contest winner Zach McKeeby

Senior Zach McKeeby entered a poster he created in Marcy McKinley's UHS Environmental Studies class in an annual statewide Department of Environmental Conservation contest. The contest is focused around highlighting student-created art that exemplifies recycling, reusing, waste reduction, composting, buying recycled products and other eco-friendly habits that people and organizations can practice. Zach's artwork focused on composting won third place in the Grades 10-12 category. His artwork was included in the 2012 New York Recycles calendar. Congratulations Zach!
