Duanesburg
student takes third place in SkillsUSA competition

Congratulations to Duanesburg High School student Travis Walters, also a senior in Career & Tech’s AYES Automotive Technician program, for scoring third place in the state SkillsUSA competition in Automotive Service Technician.
Duanesburg students Dallas Mesick and Aimee Bradt also competed in the event.
SkillsUSA is a national career and technical student organization that promotes professional and personal growth and leadership through seminars and workshops, campus activities, community service and competitions.
Career & Tech has student-run SkillsUSA chapters at both of its campuses. Students from a wide range of programs competed last week in the state competition, testing their technical and professional skills through hands-on and written contests.
