Oct. 14, 2009—Students involved in Duanesburg High School’s Leo Club get the
satisfaction of helping others, and now you can too.
On Friday, Oct. 30, the community service club is sponsoring a Red Cross Blood
Drive at the high school from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Students, parents and community
members are invited to donate blood, and help the group reach their goal of 45
donors.br />
Students who are 16 years old must have parental permission to donate blood.
Parental permission is not required for donors who are 17 years old and above.
However, photo identification is required. Free t-shirts will be provided.
Appointments may be made by contacting the high school main office at 895-5350.
Walk-ins are also welcome.

Fisher, Allison Paludi, Dan Paludi, Nora Kanarkiewicz, Breanne Hotaling, Emily
Mayo, Ali Souci and Kristen Boyer helped collect donations at NBT Bank and the
Mobil gas station in Duanesburg.
