Second annual Arts & Crafts fest set for May 1
Free community event will feature more than 20
artists
April 26, 2010—Shop for a unique Mother's Day gift during the
second annual Arts & Crafts Fest on Saturday, May 1, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at
Duanesburg Middle/High School.
The free community event will feature more than 20 artists and crafters
displaying their wares, such as watercolor paintings, jewelry, wood and fabric
crafts. There will also be make-your-own activities for children and adults. The
"Mexican Bistro" is back and will be serving delicious snacks all day.
Ten percent of all sales will benefit the Duanesburg Auditorium Fund, which
formed last school year in an effort to raise money to fund an auditorium
building project and architectural study in the school district.
