District launches online parent and student information
system
Feb. 12, 2010—A new communication tool is now available that
allows parents and students convenient online access to a secure site with
information about a student's academic program and progress.
The system, available through the district’s student management system—eschooldata,
generally known as a “parent portal.” The portal will provide access to middle
and high school student class schedules, progress reports and report cards.
“A strong partnership between home and school is one of the major driving forces
for student success,” said Superintendent Christine Crowley. “We hope parents
will see this tool as a convenient way to access important information about
their children.”
Letters about how to register and access the system were sent home with
middle/high school students in February 2010. You will need your child’s student
identification number, which is listed on report cards.
If you have any questions or need your child’s identification number, please
contact Lucas Larkin at 518-895-5350, ext. 268.
Please note, at this time, progress reports and report cards will continue to be
sent home with students.
