Meal charging guidelines
Students are allowed up to three lunch charges. The
cafeteria staff will notify the parent/guardian in writing after
three charges are received OR within five school days from the date
of the last charge.
If charges are not paid within two weeks of the parent
notification, the following steps will be taken:
- > The student
may lose meal-charging privileges for the remainder of the school
year.
- > Elementary
school student parents/guardians will be notified in writing prior
to the loss of privileges.
- > If an
elementary student who has lost their privileges does not have meal
money, the parent/guardian will be immediately notified by phone. If
parental contact is not made, a basic meal will be provided and a
charge issued.
- > No charges
will be permitted at the elementary or the high school following the
second Monday in May.
- > Unpaid
outstanding charges may result in the loss of other privileges.
