PTSO
The Duanesburg Central School District's Parent-Teacher-Student Organization (PTSO) is committed to enhancing education opportunities for all students in the district.
The organization holds a variety of fundraisers throughout the year to sponsor extracurricular activities and clubs as well as to provide students with scholarships, equipment and other materials not covered in the district's school budget.
The PTSO would not exist without the support and dedication of its many parent volunteers. To find out how you can help, contact a PTSO officer, leave a message at 518-895-8310, ext. 451, send an e-mail or attend an upcoming meeting.

MEETING DATES, 2011-12 SCHOOL YEAR
This school year, all meetings will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Duanesburg Elementary School Library, unless otherwise noted. Free childcare and pizza are provided as a convenience for families during evening meetings.

PTSO-SPONSORED EVENTS DATES
The PTSO has two large events coming up:

The second annual HALLOWEEN BASH is Saturday, Oct. 29 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Elementary School. The kids will trick or treat, join in some fun Halloween activities, have a costume contest, a cake walk and much more! Also, the class of 2016 will be hosting a ziti dinner!

Calling all bakers! The PTSO is putting on its first-ever Cake Walk at the DES Halloween Bash on Saturday, Oct. 29. The PTSO is in desperate need of donated themed cakes, cupcakes, and baked goods for this event! There will be a grand prize for the most creative entry and anyone is welcome to enter. Our first HOOPS TO HELP event is Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 5 and 6 at the High School and the DACC. The event will feature fast-paced basketball games that anyone can participate in or watch! All proceeds from Hoops to Help will go directly to help local flood victims.
